We met in West Africa 15 years ago and have been working in the "jungles" of Chicago and Washington, D.C. since we returned. We knew when we left Africa that our hearts and souls belonged there and that some day we would return to work there. (As soon as the college loans were paid off.) I am a former Peace Corps volunteer with a B.S. in Animal Science. I have worked as an Animal Control Officer and currently work for the United States Department of Agriculture. I truly enjoyed the challenges presented and working with the people and livestock where I was assigned. My Zarma and Hausa are rusty, but my French is pretty good. My passion and love for protecting all endangered species is all consuming and I would accept any position where I could be of help to any of the many ongoing projects. My husband held a Top Secret level security clearance through his work with the State Department and Marine Corps Security Guard assignment. He now holds an Associates Degree in Bussiness Administration and Managment and a B.A. in Management Information Systems. He has many years of management experience but his passion is outdoor and wildlife photography. Through my love of all animals, Jay has become a very patient, awkstruck admirer of them also. We would welcome any opportunity to go back to where we felt our lives were significant and that we might make a positive contribution to this world. Thank you.
